PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material feeding apparatus for an automatic packaging machine capable of adjusting the weight of a solid substance to be fed to a definite amount. SOLUTION: The raw material feeding apparatus for the automatic packaging machine is a raw material feeding apparatus 6 feeding a dry solid substance 130 to the automatic packaging machine which forms a packaging bag 122 by sealing a packaging film 121 and filling a raw material into the packaging bag 122 to continuously make a packaged article 123, and is equipped with a raw material hopper 60 for feeding an assembly consisting of a plurality of the solid substances 123, and a linear feeder 61 having a longitudinal shape and feeding the dry solid substance 130 into the automatic packaging machine 1 by transferring the assembly fed from the raw material hopper 60 in the longitudinal direction.
