PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat and a waist pad of a child-care device, stably constraining a waist part of a bab and an infant. SOLUTION: A waist belt 6 provided on the seat includes a waist pad 40 projected inward to abut on the waist of a seated baby or infant 10 from the side. The waist pad 40 includes a sleeve 20 and an insert 30. The sleeve 20 has a passage for passing the waist belt 6, and an opening 22.
