The automatic rocking device is characterized in that it is constituted by a casing (3) inside which it is mounted a structure (4) which supports by means of rails (7) an inertial body (8) which goes lengthwise along the rails (7). Said inertial body (8) is driven by a worm (9), the inertial body comprising a toe (12) which goes through a slot (13) of the worm (9). It is used to rock the baby in an optimal manner, with an adjustable rhythm.
