PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically optimize image processing conditions on a radiation image by utilizing an adjustment result made by a user.

SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has a parameter storage means for storing parameters corresponding to the image processing conditions; an image processing means for carrying out an image processing to the radiation image with the parameters corresponding to the image processing conditions stored in the parameter storage means; an image processing condition adjusting means for adjusting the image processing conditions to the processed image to which image processing is carried out by the image processing means; a parameter adjustment quantity storage means for storing parameter adjustment quantities for every image processing condition adjusted by the image processing condition adjusting means; a parameter changing means for changing the parameter corresponding to the image processing condition stored in the parameter storage means based on the parameter adjustment quantity; and a parameter correction permission determining means for determining to stop the change of the parameter on predetermined conditions.
