<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a magnetically isotropic rare earth bond magnet, where Nd<SB>2</SB>Fe<SB>14</SB>B-based rare earth element magnet powder of pulverized melt span ribbon is fixed by resin, into high (BH) max. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes a step A for compressing the compound of magnetically anisotropic or isotropic rare earth bond magnet powder and a bonding agent containing a constituent that can be drawn as a green compact, a step B for thermosetting the green compact as a rare earth magnet bond magnet precursor, a step C for setting a flexible rare earth bond magnet in which the constituent of the bonding agent in the precursor is drawn, a step D for setting the flexible rare earth bond magnet shaped in predetermined dimensions in a temperature region in which the constituent of the bonding agent of the flexible rare earth bond magnet can be drawn, a step E for forming the shaped flexible rare earth bond magnet in a specified annular shape, and a step F for magnetizing the annular magnet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
