PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a trend graph waveform display apparatus reducing visual burden on users and improving readability by making a scale range of a pen of interest easily and instantaneously recognizable in the case of the presence of a plurality of pens in the same graph region. SOLUTION: The waveform display apparatus for displaying waveform data with ruled lines on a screen is provided with a ruled line processing means for specifying the type of the ruled lines to be displayed on the screen as the type of overall display for indicating a scale with the ruled lines or the type of divided display for indicating division boundary lines of the data display region with the ruled lines.
