PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized/lightened heat exchanger allowing prevention of liquid leakage by erosion. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has: a header tank member 4 formed with a tank chamber 10 thereinside; an inlet pipe 6 connected to the header tank member 4; and a plurality of tubes 2 having end parts respectively connected to the header tank member 4, laminated such that an insertion projecting part 2a of each the end part projects into the tank chamber 10. In the heat exchanger, a heat exchange medium supplied to the tank chamber 10 from the inlet pipe 6 is dividedly supplied to a flow passage inside each the tube 2. A size of the insertion projecting part 2a in at least the tube 2 near the inlet pipe 6 among the respective tubes 2 is formed longer than a size of another insertion projecting part 2a.
