The assembly (1) is for a greenhouse or departmental store and comprises a gutter (10) made of steel plate and at least one cover rod (20), with at least one local gripping edge formed from a part of the plate-shaped wall of the gutter. The cover rod is connected with the gutter by a fixed extension of the rod behind the gripping edge. The gutter forms a through passage (10a) for condensation water. Two upper condensation gutters (50) on opposite sides at regular distances feed towards the through passage and an upper gutter (40) is provided for rainwater. Each condensation gutter has side walls (51,52) and a base (53). Gutter edge profiles (30) accommodate lower edges of glass plates.
