The drive assembly for the movement of machine components, e.g. slides or grips etc. and especially at a machine tool, has at least one threaded spindle (40) powered by a drive motor (21). A nut (5) rides on the spindle, rotated by a second drive motor (9) to give the working unit (56), e.g. a grip of the tool exchange mechanism, an axial movement and rotation around the spindle axis through the two drive motors. The grip is keyed on a shaft (44) which is keyed with the spindle. |
