Vehicle body closing panel

There is provided a vehicle body comprising a metallic structure 1 having a window aperture therein, the aperture being closed by means of a panel 5. The panel 5 comprises a fibre laminate material which is bonded to the metallic structure 1 by means of a low modulus adhesive 7. There is also provided a method of closing a window aperture within a vehicle body having a metallic structure.
