' A liquid fuel burner comprises a perforated combustion chamber 1 surrounded by a skirt 9 and an open ended supplementary air supply tube 4 extending from the base of the chamber to a secondary air supply ring 3 disposed at the top of the chamber. Fuel is delivered to the base of the chamber by a tube 7. The skirt has an apertured base 6 and is supported by lugs 10 on the combustion chamber. The air supply tube 4 has apertures 21 . . . 25 and an apertured disc 19 is secured to its lower end. The lowest row of apertures 12 in the combustion chamber are formed in the lower side of a groove so as to extend downwardly towards the base. A ring 2 is mounted inside the combustion chamber.</p> |
