<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type portable terminal device capable of utilizing the opening/closing operation of two casings as an operation means for calling of communication or an operation means for various functions included in the terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding type portable terminal device is provided with an angle detection part 46 for detecting a mutual relative angle between the first and second casings 4, 8; a storage part 48 for storing a plurality of address information data; and a control part 50 for successively selecting one of the plurality of address information data stored in the storage part 48 correspondingly to the relative angle detected by the angle detection part 46 when the first casing 4 is rotated in the operated state of a sub-operation part 34, and when the casings 4, 8 are turned to the opened state after separating the sub-operation part 34, calling the address information selected when the sub-operation part 34 is separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
