<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having an effective sound generating means capable of making a player carefully listen effective sound and raising the amusement of the game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has an acoustic output means 30A, 30B located at the predetermined position generating effective sound, a virtual sound source set means setting a virtual sound source at the position not limited to the located position of the acoustic output means 30A, 30B by localizing the effective sound output from the acoustic output means 30A, 30B, and an image display position determining means determining the display position of the predetermined image object output to a image display unit 8.
