PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process roll having a WC-based cermet spray deposit film which is dense, has high hardness and is excellent in toughness on a surface layer. SOLUTION: In the process roll, a WC-based cermet spray deposit film of the porosity of≤0.5% is deposited by thermal spraying WC-based cermet thermal spraying powder containing Ni powder.
