摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine having a compact device scale for enabling a heater to effectively receive heat. SOLUTION: This Stirling engine has at least two cylinders 22 and 32 arranged in series, and a heat exchanger 90 having a cooler 45, a regenerator 46 and the heater 47. The heat exchanger is constituted so that at least a part of the heat exchanger has a curve shape for connecting the first cylinder and the second cylinder. The heater is constituted so as to have a curve shape of connecting the first cylinder and the second cylinder. The cooler and the regenerator are formed in a straight line shape of running in the extending direction of the cylinder. A mounting space is compactly restrained. For example, when a heat receivable area is limited like the inside of a pipe, the heat transfer area can be maximally secured when forming the heater in a curve shape in the area.
