PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaking method for performing lining work comparatively quickly after inserting a remaking material into a manhole and shortening remaking construction term to remake an inner peripheral face of the aging manhole by lining. SOLUTION: In this manhole remaking method for remaking the inner peripheral face of the manhole by lining by heating the cylindrical remaking material made of thermoplastic resin and expanding its diameter in the manhole, the cylindrical remaking material is preliminarily heated outside the manhole before inserting the remaking material into the manhole.
