PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer data of a bus width requested by software from a target device without performing any complicate register setting by the software even when a read request whose size is smaller than specific bus width is received from the software. SOLUTION: Data transfer bus width requested by software is designated as the arbitrary bits 145 of an address, and the address of data requested from the value of the predetermined low order bits 144 of the address is recognized. Thus even when a read request whose size is smaller than specific bus width is received from the software, it is possible to transfer data with a bus width requested by the software from a target device 110 without performing any complicate register setting by the software.
