PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which stabilizes a developing amount, provides a high resolution image, ensures a long lifetime of a charge imparting member and can greatly shorten downtime due to replacement, and to provide a method for manufacturing the toner with high productivity. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing toner comprising toner particles comprising a binder resin and a colorant, a number average particle diameter of the toner particles is 2.5-7.5μm and the toner includes <12 ppm of an acrylic ester and 40-300 ppm of a 4-12C aliphatic alcohol.
