PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wear occurring upon a restart by a dynamic pressure generating surface having a dynamic pressure generating groove and a receiving face opposed thereto directly rubbing with each other. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure bearing has the dynamic pressure generating groove 5 formed on one opposing face 3b out of opposing faces 3b and 4a of two relatively rotating members 2, 3. On the other opposing face 4a, a plurality of dimples 6 are dispersedly formed. Each of the dimples 6 stores oil, thereby oil films are constantly maintained between the opposing faces.
