PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the contacting area of a temperature sensor (45) to a rice-cooking pot so as to avoid occurring of temperature variance at the rice-cooking pot in a rice cooker provided with the temperature sensor (45) for detecting the temperature of the rice-cooking pot in contact with the rice-cooking pot. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor (45) is provided with: a thermistor (1) for detecting the finish of cooking by detecting the temperature of the rice-cooking pot; and a thermosensitive response switch (2) for stopping heating to the rice-cooking pot by detecting an abnormally high temperature of the rice-cooking pot (4). The thermistor (1) is provided adjacently to the rice-cooking pot, and the switch (2) is arranged under the thermistor (1) and connected in series with the thermistor (1).
