PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and comfortable seat heater surely detecting runaway and breakdown of a control means. SOLUTION: This seat heater is provided with a heater 1 for warming, the control means 2, a runaway monitoring means 4 monitoring the runaway of the control means 2, and an energizing means 5 energizing the heater 1 for warming according to an output value of the runaway monitoring means 4. This constitution allows the runaway monitoring means 4 to monitor the runaway and the breakdown of the control means 2, and even if the control means 2 runs away or breaks down and the heater 1 for warming is out of control, the energization to the heater 1 for warming is stopped so as to be safe.
