<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an energy absorbing amount by increasing acceleration in the initial period of a collision and relieve a shock due to a secondary collision. <P>SOLUTION: The outer panel 16 of a hood 12 has a step 14 at whose undersurface a reinforcing panel 22 is arranged in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body, and when viewed in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body, the reinforcing panel 22 couples linearly the inner joining part 16B and outer joining part 16C of the outer panel 16 pinching the step 14. The reinforcing panel 22 is joined with adhesives 24, 26 with the inner joining part 16B and the outer joining part 16C of the outer panel 16, and at least either of the adhesives 24, 26 is torn off when any colliding body has collided with the hood 12 and the panel 22 has touched the inner panel 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
