<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a pump capable of reducing the number of components and assembling man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: A motor as a motor part 10 of a pump 1 comprises a tubular housing 13, a stator 30 which is provided in the housing 13 and wound on a stator coil 33, a pair of end covers 15 and 51 provided at both ends of the housing 13, and a rotor 20 which is supported rotatably by both end covers 15 and 51 and is provided with a magnet 27 that faces the stator 30. The stator 30 is integrally molded from resin by insert molding together with a shell part 12 including the housing 13 and one end cover 15. The pump 1 comprises a pump casing 51 which is built in the shell part 12 and acts as the other end cover as well, and a pump part 50 operated by the motor part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
