POWER SUPPLY AND POWER BACKUP METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply capable of supplying power from a battery of single system to a circuit such as a central processing unit of a computer and a startup circuit while suppressing scaling up. SOLUTION: The power for backing up is supplied to a main transformer 9 connected between input terminals 5 and 6 and output terminals 23-3 and 25-3. The voltage generated on the input terminals 5 and 6 sides of the main transformer 9 when the power for backing up is supplied, is supplied to backup output terminals 35 and 37 through a backup transformer 31.
