PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a photoelectric conversion time in exchange for resolution deterioration without using auxiliary light for photographing in a photographing apparatus provided with a solid-state imaging device. SOLUTION: This solid-state imaging device has a color filter of complementary color arrangement or a Bayer arrangement, integrates electric charges from nine photoelectric converters relating to a single color arranged at a part for each part composed of six rows and six columns divided by boundaries shifted by three rows or three columns for each color into a single group of charges and outputs the integrated electric charges as one pixel or separately outputs the electric charges as nine pixels without integrating them. In the case of integrating the electric charges, 1/9 resolution and 9-fold sensitivity are obtained in comparison with the case of no integration. An unillustrated control part determines electric charge accumulation time required for photographing in the case that no electric charges are integrated in accordance with received light quantity, and if the time is longer than a prescribed threshold, the control part shortens the electric charge accumulation time to 1/9 and generates a photographed image on the basis of the electric charges to be integrated and outputted.
