PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burr correction method for a steel plate edge, a method that properly corrects the burrs generated on a steel plate edge in trimming and that enables a stable trim edge to be obtained, even in equipment such as a continuous annealing line. SOLUTION: The burrs generated in the steel plate edge by trimming are crushed and corrected using rolls 7 oppositely placed across the steel plate edge. In this case, the pressurizing force of the rolls 7 is set based on the material and the thickness of the steel plate 2, in the method for correcting burrs for the steel plate edge.
