Percutaneous absorption preparations for treating dementia which contain an adhesive composition, characterized in that the adhesive composition contains the active ingredient in a dispersed state, the active ingredient is released at a pharmacologically effective speed and the skin permeation speed thereof is at least 1.2 mug/cm2/h. Thus, it is possible to provide percutaneous absorption preparations whereby the therapeutic effect can be sustained over a prolonged period of time without elevating the concentration of the active ingredient in the plasma to such a level as causing the expression of side effects in the administration of remedies for dementia.
