<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load acting on an inner ring by raising rigidity of the inner ring with a simple structure and to prevent deformation and damage of the inner ring caused by excessive caulking load. <P>SOLUTION: A hub 2 is formed at an inner end with a caulking cylinder 18 providing a caulking portion 17 for fixing the inner ring 3. The inner ring 3 is formed with a protruded portion 20 on its radially inner peripheral surface at a position slightly closer on a second inner ring track 9 side from an arcuately curved surface 21. A stepped surface 22 of an arcuate shape in cross section is formed on a radially outer peripheral surface of the caulking cylinder 18 so that it abuts on the protruded portion 20. The protruded portion 20 of the inner ring 3 is fitted on the stepped surface 22, and the inner ring 3 is fixed by caulking the caulking cylinder 18 in this state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
