RECORDING MEDIUM, REPRODUCTION DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND REPRODUCTION METHOD

A BD-ROM contains a plurality of titles which can be branched and a Java application executable upon reproduction of each title. Each title has an AV Clip and an application management table. The application is a program described in a programming language for a virtual machine. The application management table correlates an application to an application start attribute in the corresponding title. The start attribute may be a continuation attribute (Persistent) for continuing the application state in the branching source and an AutoRun attribute for automatically starting the application when the application is in a non-start state in the branching source.
