<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control system which is excel in conventional responsiveness even if the system is complicated to deal with various signals in a system controlled by power line carrier communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the load control system for illumination or the like having a plurality of systems each including a branched power line 12 and a signal router 11 in a system that uses a power line carrier communication means to perform control, at least two kinds of signals for different uses are communicated on the branched power line 12, signal routers a-11, b-11, c-11 of different systems mutually transfer signals, transfer rules between signal routers are determined for each signal, and signal transfer is performed according to the transfer rules. A signal transfer means for mutually transferring signals may also be added on each branched power line 12.
