<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length adjusting member of strings of a mask permitting easily adjusting the length of the strings of the mask, preventing the strings from being easily cut, and allowing a user to easily handle the adjusting member even if the user wears gloves. <P>SOLUTION: A first elastic sheet material 100 attached to one string 5a of the mask is formed in the shape of a long plate, and shaped parts 105 consisting of a narrow part 103 and a projecting piece part 104 are formed at a plurality of positions in the longitudinal direction. A first slot 203 and a second slot 204 are formed on a second elastic sheet material 200 attached to the other string 5b in such a way that sides of the slots are connected to each other. The elastic sheet members 100 and 200 are detachably hooked to each other by making the projecting piece part 104 of the first elastic sheet material 100 pass through the first slot 203 of the second elastic sheet material 200 and inserting the narrow part 103 into the second slot 204. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
