PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a television and a connector in which the connector can be easily and firmly fixed in a small space on a substrate. SOLUTION: A fixing device 10 of which right and left extension sections 40, 50 are formed in a length not reaching as far as the base plate 70 is installed from the above of RCA jack 60 arranged on the base plate 70, and the fixing device 10 and the RCA jack 60 are firmly engaged. At the same time, the top end part 31 of the center leg section 30 is inserted into a through hole 71 of the base plate 70, thereby, the whole fixing device 10 is firmly locked to the substrate 70. As a result, by using only a small space saving the space corresponding to the thickness portion of the right and left extension sections 40, 50 on the base plate 70, the RCA jack 60 can be firmly fixed.
