PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control reproduction effect of video and voice read from a recording medium. SOLUTION: A signal processor 1 is provided with a first buffer memory 18 outputting a picture signal after storing it, a second buffer memory 19 outputting an audio signal after storing it, and a reproduction control part 28. The reproduction control part 28 controls timing when the picture signal and the audio signal are outputted from the first and the second buffer memories 18, 19 respectively and independently in accordance with a given command, and variably adjusts reproduction progress speed of at least either of the picture signal and the audio signal.
