<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recorder enabling one or more information storages to be connected or disconnected which efficiently and reliably prevents recorded contents from being recorded or removed against the intension of copyright holders thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The information recorder 100 is connected to one or more disc drives 230 and comprises drive key resisters 213, 221 for the individual disc drives to store unique drive keys used for encryptions. In recording contents, the recorder generates the unique drive key corresponding to the designated disc drive, stores it in the drive key register (S303), generates a title key corresponding to the inputted contents (S310), encrypts the title key, using the drive key (S311), encrypts the inputted contents, using the title key, and stores them in the designated storage (S312). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
