<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of corona discharge to the center core from a secondary spool while the rise of a cost is controlled in an ignition coil having a gap between the center core and the secondary spool on the external circumferential side of the center core. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition coil comprises the center core 15 arranged at the center of a cylindrical case 10; a secondary spool 20 arranged in the external circumferential side of the center core with a gap kept in the radius direction and a secondary coil 23 wound to the external circumferential surface of the secondary spool and; a primary spool 25 arranged in the external circumferential side of the secondary spool and a primary coil 28 wound to the external circumferential surface of the primary spool. A gap 16 is provided between the center core and secondary spool. A conductive part 21 at the internal circumferential surface of the secondary spool and the center core are made to be electrically conductive through the conductive means 17a, 17b and 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
