<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing power consumption so as to reduce the power consumption of a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver 10 is provided with: a plurality of reception system circuits connected to separate antennas 12a, 12b and 12c; and a signal selection section 16 for selecting one of the reception system circuits whose reception level is equal to or higher than a prescribed threshold as a main processing circuit, and at least part of the reception system circuits other than the selected reception system circuit is brought into an inactive state so as to suppress the power consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
