PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for a post mounting on a vehicle ceiling as an improvement of the conventional technique requiring a boring process in an existing beam etc. involving such a problem that a ceiling panel is damaged at the time of boring or is bored by mistake. SOLUTION: With this mounting device for the post mounting on the vehicle ceiling, a mounting member is attached removably to a beam stretching along the ceiling panel of a vehicle and an object holding member is fixed to the mounting member. The mounting member is composed of an insertion part to be inserted to the gap between the ceiling panel and the beam and a pinching member to pinch the beam together with the insertion part. The object holding member is composed of a connecting tool fixed to the mounting member and having a slotted hole, a nut placed on the oversurface of the slotted hole, an object hanging tool abutted to the undersurface of the connecting tool and having a slotted hole, and a screw stretching from the undersurface of the object hanging tool in such a way as to penetrate the two slotted holes to be screwed with the nut.
