<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high temperature cycle property of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery using lithium manganate as a positive electrode activator. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery has a positive electrode containing lithium manganate as an activator, a negative electrode, and a polymer electrolyte. The polymer electrolyte is formed by polymerizing a prepolymer in a prepolymer electrolyte containing nonaqueous solvent, electrolyte salt, and the prepolymer.
