<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component which is simply lowering a pressure level of sound generated by electrostriction resonance, and is equipped with a device body comprising ferroelectric ceramic and with an external electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the ceramic electronic component equipped with a device body comprising ferroelectric ceramic and with an external electrode, the external electrode contains therein a vibration absorption layer formed with a metal cap comprising Ti-Ni alloy, Cu-Zn alloy, Mn-Cu alloy, Fe-Cr alloy, Mg alloy or Al-Zn alloy for absorbing vibration generated by electrostriction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
