PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of displaying a tomogram of a subject and displaying a fluoroscopic image in real time, and a method of obtaining the fluoroscopic image. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus comprises an X-ray scanning means 3 for rotating a pair of an X-ray tube 11 and an X-ray detector 13 in which a plurality of detecting elements are arranged in the slice direction over views in a prescribed range and irradiating the subject P with X rays in each of a plurality of views, a memory 25 for collecting data on the X-ray cone beam from signals detected by the X-ray detector 13, and a fluoroscopic image preparing part 26 for preparing the fluoroscopic image of the subject P by the plane converting process of the data on the X-ray parallel beam obtained by converting the data on the X-ray cone beam to data on the X-ray parallel beam.
