PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management apparatus and recording apparatus capable of sharing information relating to video recording reservation with recording of information of a broadcast program or the like. SOLUTION: When video recording information is inputted from a user, a recording and reproducing apparatus 3 registers the video recording information in a video recording information database 11 and transmits the information to a shared server 2. The shared server 2 registers the video recording information that is received from the recording and reproducing apparatus 3, in a shared video recording information database 21 and transmits the video recording information to other recording and reproducing apparatuses 4, 5 which are connected to share the video recording information. Each of the other recording and reproducing apparatuses 4, 5 registers the video recording information that is transmitted from the shared server 2, in a video recording information database 11.
