SCAPULAR GLENOID CAVITY PROSTHESIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prosthesis provided with a module characteristics and capable of preventing the risk of position deviations. SOLUTION: The prosthesis for a scapular glenoid cavity is provided with a sheet (1) fixed to the glenoid cavity by anchor fixing screws (5), the sheet (1) is provided with a plate (2) capable of receiving a male type insert (17), and the sheet can receive a female type insert (10). The outer surface of the peripheral rim of the sheet is in the form of a clasp cone in a truncated conical shape which can be engaged with the male type insert (17), the male type insert is provided with an abutting surface forming a complementary shape, and the plate of the sheet is provided with a means (22) intended for being engaged with the female type insert (10).
