PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiator for attaining high efficiency in conversion from power into a light output, which is the feature of an LED, by solving problems due to the heat generation of the LED and allowing the irradiator for freely irradiating a desired part with light with prescribed wave length to use the LED as a light source. SOLUTION: The light irradiator 10A is used for medical purpose in dentistry and surgery, etc. A light emission diode single body 3 as the light source and a lens 4, which outputs light inputted from the light emission diode single body so as to focus light on the desired position, are separated by prescribed length and arranged inside a case 5.
