PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a path mechanism which enables the preparation of a ball case with a room until the put-out path is filled to the capacity. SOLUTION: In the path mechanism, a pinball machine has upper and lower ball trays arranged on the surface side of the front frame having a game board housed and held therein, a ball put-out device disposed on the rear side of the front frame, an upper ball tray put-out path connectingthe ball put-out device and the upper ball tray and a lower ball tray put-out path which is provided on the rear side of the front frame with connecting the ball put-out device and the lower ball tray and makes the game balls running over the upper ball tray put-out path flow down onto the lower ball tray. The upper ball tray 5 is mounted on the surface side of the front frame so as to be openable or closable forward while an opening part 211 is provided in the course of the upper ball tray put-out path and a lower ball tray downflow path L20 which has a ball receiving port 35 made to communicate with the opening part 211 with the upper ball tray 5 closed on the front frame is provided on the surface side of the front frame to link the ball receiving port 35 to the lower ball tray. With the upper tray 5 closed, this allows the game balls positioned near the opening part 211 to flow down onto the lower ball tray through the lower ball tray downflow path L20.
