The search image (SB) has a search area (S) consisting of a horizontal row of second picture regions (B2). The selected picture may be broken up into an array of pixels for transmission. Each pixel may be identified by its x (x) and y (y) coordinates. Various regions in the two pictures may be compared. The selected picture may be rejected as incorrect if the second picture region lies at the edge of the search region.
