<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye image imaging device to be mounted on a personal digital assistant device, permitting stable focusing determination regardless of the shape of the eye of a user using a miniaturized, light-weight, and inexpensive fixed focus lens. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises an imaging part 120 for imaging the eye of the user as an eye image, a focusing degree calculation part 130 for calculating the size of the high-frequency component from the eye image, a threshold setting part 150 for setting the focusing threshold specific to a regular user, and a focusing determining part 140 for determining the focusing by comparing the size of the high-frequency component and the focusing threshold, so that the optimum focusing threshold for the regular user is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
