PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst for producing a flexible polyurethane foam having improved curing rate and moldability of foam and a slight smell and to provide a method for producing the flexible polyurethane foam. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the flexible polyurethane by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of an amine catalyst, a blowing agent and, if necessary, another auxiliary, the catalyst for producing the flexible polyurethane, comprising an amine compound containing an alkyl ether group and/or an aryl ether group in the molecule, is used as the amine catalyst.
