PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contaminated soil improvement method capable of efficiently performing the decontamination of contaminated soil by setting arbitrary cutting shapes so as to eliminate untreated areas and overlaps, discharging contaminated soil cut in any arbitrary shapes by high-pressure jet of water and air, and filling the voids with a slurried burying replacement substance by jet. SOLUTION: The contaminated soil improvement method comprising burying a slurry burying replacement substance comprises a rotation control unit 25 for nozzles 10 and 11 comprising a cut shape set means 27 that sets underground along a shape that cuts off in a square in a horizontal cross section, a distance calculation means 28 that successively and arithmetically calculates the distances between the nozzles 10 and 11 for water 33 and air 34 and the position of cutting, a jet time calculating means 29 that arithmetically calculates the jet time of water 33 and air 34 from the calculated distances, and a rotation speed control means 30 that controls the rotation speeds of the nozzles 10 and 11 for water 33 and air 34 in inverse proportion to the calculated injection times.
