PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for transporting powder capable of providing excellent bridge prevention effect while simplifying the device and also suppress the lowering of a device operation rate even when the powder is rather frequently changed. SOLUTION: This device comprises a powder storage tank 2 having an exit 5b on the lower side, a transportation tube 6 connected to the exit 5b, and a nozzle member 15 connected to a gas supply device 10 and injecting gas in the tank 2. In this method, the inside of the tank is pressurized to a specified pressure, and the powder in the tank is discharged from the exist 5b to the transportation tube 6 with the pressurized pressure. The nozzle member 15 is installed in the tank in the suspended state, and since the gas supplied from the gas supply device 10 is injected from a discharge port 15a at the lower end, the inside of the tank is pressurized and the powder is force-fed from the exit 5b to the transportation tube 6, and the tank is swung in the radial direction to add an injection force to the lower inner peripheral surface of the tank.
