PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure of a front wheel differential gear capable of reducing front overhang without sacrificing road clearance, steering stability, and ride quality while keeping advantage of a longitudinally installed power train. SOLUTION: In the arrangement structure of the front wheel differential gear FD meshing with a front wheel output shaft L3 of the longitudinally installed power train device where an input shaft L1, the front wheel output shaft L3, and a rear wheel output shaft L4 from an engine disposed mutually in parallel are disposed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, a ring gear RG of the front wheel differential gear FD is arranged in a diagonally downward part of a clutch member 18 located in the boundary between the engine and the transmission. Even when the differential gear FD goes forward just to an interfering position to the clutch member 18, each member can be disposed compactly without excessive sideward and downward movement of the front wheel differential gear FD. The front overhang can be reduced without sacrificing the road clearance, steering stability, and ride quality, and the front end of the vehicle is prevented from often contacting with the ground.
